How Anna’s Taqueria was Born
San Francisco’s Mission District and authentic Mexican food go together like rice and beans. It was in those kitchens that Anna’s Taqueria was first conceived with the goal of bringing the home-style flavor of Mexican street food to the people of Boston. Brookline became Anna’s Taqueria first home in 1995, and people couldn’t get enough. Since, we have expanded to 14 locations throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire.
From day one, our focus has been on doing things the right way, preparing our meats in-house, making our sauces from scratch, and staying true to the bold, simple flavors that inspired us. It’s a hands-on approach that reflects our passion for great food and the traditions behind it.
The Boston area is more than where we work – it’s our home. And while we’re proud of bringing some amazing Mexican food to the area – we’re more proud of supporting the people, causes and communities we live in.
